Heartland Kids (HK) is seeking individuals who are able to fill a variety of roles in children’s ministry during weekend services. These people will work alongside HK staff and volunteers, helping to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families.
Team members will have a strong faith in God, enjoy working with children, display creativity and effective communication, show a willingness to be flexible, can manage their time wisely, and be willing to work in team to help implement and maintain Heartland Kids safety guidelines and procedures.
Weekend Classroom Teacher:Hours- Saturday evenings for a total of 3 hours per week (5:00 - 8:00 pm).
Experience- This person must have completed Grade 10 and have previous experience working or volunteering in Heartland Kids or a related area.
Responsibilities- Help with set up/clean up and any other tasks
- Classroom Lead in all of HK classrooms
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers
All applicants for either position are required to have an up to date CRC (required if over 18), IRC (if applicable), and OP training.
