Here at Heartland, in Women’s Ministry, we’re passionate about three main things: women going deeper in their relationship with God, women going deeper in relationships with each other, and women sharing of the goodness of God in their places of influence.
What do these things look like and how do they happen? Well, God is endlessly creative!
There are several ways as women to get involved in community here at Heartland. Look at the options below and consider if any might be a good fit for you.
If you have any questions, contact us and ask. We would love to help you as you consider how you may become involved in community here at Heartland.

- He loves to engage with us as we read the Bible.
- He loves to speak to us as we grow in listening to His voice.
- He loves to bring freedom and healing to our hearts by the power of His Holy Spirit.
- He loves to use our stories and experiences to encourage and build each other up and we believe that these things happen best in community.
- We were made to live life together!

A Study in Ephesians
Tuesday evenings starting October 6
In a world where Christianity is increasingly sidelined, we need to grasp the truths of this faith-affirming, life-changing letter. Paul, through the book of Ephesians, helps us more readily perceive how "being in Christ" changes everything—our view of ourselves, our world, our future, our church, our homes, and our workplaces.

Life Groups are where we live out what it means to be the church as we do real life together. We invite you to investigate which small group best fits you or your family at this stage of life. Everyone has a place to belong, no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.

Connex Groups are for those who are new to Small Groups or have other commitments that keep them from joining a Life Group. They are a shorter term Life Group experience. Connex Groups allow you to explore small group community over a 6- to 12-week term.
WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP TEAM

Joy Cadwell
Pastor of Women & Administration
It is such a joy for me to walk with and serve the women of Heartland in the ways that I can. I love seeing people experience the freedom that comes from walking closely with God and with each other. I joined the Heartland team in 2017, and had the pleasure of serving in another church for 14 years previously . My husband Craig and I have been married since 2001 and have a son and daughter who are both in their 20's. I love spending time with my family as well as things like hiking, reading and having coffee with a good friend. I'm so happy you're here!

Yolande Tkachyk
Director of Women's Ministry
I have had the privilege of being involved at Heartland since the very beginning and loved serving with my husband Danny in Jr High as well as being small group leaders. In 2013 I began working in Women’s Ministry and I am blessed to serve alongside many amazing ladies! I enjoy playing slow pitch and pickleball in the summer and hanging out with my family. Danny and I have three adult kids, two of whom are married and two amazing grandchildren.
